Celebrate Special Photos with Kid Made Picture Frames

Does your child have a favorite character that they have met in person? We have met many of the kids favorite characters through various trips. Help your child celebrate their special memories by creating kid made picture frames to display. Continue reading to see how we created my son’s frame for his picture with Woody.

Materials Needed

Thin cardboard or poster board (white or preferred color)
Scissors
Tape
Markers
Stickers
Picture
Character signature (optional)

Instructions

Cut two pieces of cardboard roughly two inches larger than your picture.
Trace the outline of your photo on the center of one piece and cut out the middle to create a mat.
Tape the picture to the backside of the piece of cardboard you cut as the mat.
Tape the whole piece of cardboard on the back to sandwich the picture in.
Look online or in your child’s autograph book and find the characters signature and print or photocopy it (optional).
Next have your child color and add stickers to decorate the frame to their liking.
Finally Display!

My son is thrilled with his frame. Woody is his favorite character and has been since he was very young. This picture was from the first time he met Woody at Disney Hollywood Studios when he was two. We have displayed his frame in his room and someday I will probably add it to a scrapbook to preserve the memory.
