Frozen Birthday Party

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days – I have come down with some evil bug that doesn’t seem to want to relent.  With not feeling well and Easter activities I have been down for the count but today I figured I would do a quick post and share some things from my daughter’s family Frozen party.  If you notice any crazy spelling or missing words blame it on the cough syrup with codeine I took!

This party was fairly simple for me.  We played a few games for the kids, ate, sang happy birthday, had cake and visited.  It was all in all a great afternoon.  We started out with a few games for the kids while my husband and dad went out to pick up pizza (I love that the kids like pizza for their birthdays because its one less thing I have to make – we get them from Freshies with their coupons – usually 2 large one topping pizzas for $10).

Before the party started Boo Boo posed for her annual birthday pictures in her new birthday dress and hat and Buddy had to get in on the action as well!

I bought some Frozen birthday party items at Walmart – I had a Frozen tablecloth, napkins, dessert plates and candles.  We reused our Party City Frozen balloon bouquet from the weekend before as well.  I also made some Frozen themed chocolate covered pretzel rods – I used the Wilton melts and felt they turned out pretty well.

We played Frozen Bingo first.  I got this game from Pinterest.  You can download this as well at Fashionable Moms.  The kids used the party mix we had made as markers and had a blast munching and playing.

After Bingo we played pin the nose on Olaf.  We reused the game we had already made for the bowling party and it was a hit again!

After games Boo Boo opened her presents.  She got a princess bike from us (her first bike) and was super excited!

After presents we ate dinner and then the kids played for a while.  We had cake and ice cream and the kids played more!  You can find my post dedicated to the cake here.

As always it was a fun time for the kids and adults.  Boo Boo had a blast and that is point!  Hopefully I will be feeling better and can start doing some spring activities with the kids.  Maybe if we start to act like it is Spring we will stop getting snow (we woke up to a fresh coating of about two inches this morning).  We are supposed to get warm weather this weekend so hopefully we do and the kids can enjoy their new bikes (the Easter Bunny brought Buddy a bike as well!).
