Cheerful and Easy Easter Themed Snack Mix

Cheerful and Easy Easter Themed Snack Mix

Easter is coming up quickly and one thing my family absolutely adores is a fun snack mix.  I created this Cheerful and Easy Easter Themed Snack Mix to help celebrate the holiday this year.  With all of the cousins and adults one of these big bowls is usually gone in a day!  Read on for details on how I made this Snack Mix.

Ingredients Needed

  • Cheeto Puffs
  • Pretzels
  • White Cheddar Popcorn
  • Pastel Sixlets (or any pastel candies)
  • Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies
  • Malted Milk Ball Eggs (or any egg shaped candy)
  • Campfire Egg Swirlers Marshmallows (or any Easter themed marshmallow)
  • Starburst Jellybeans (any brand jellybean would work)

Directions

  • Since I always make snack mix with the kids as my assistants we start out with one large bowl and two measuring cups.  This gives them each their own measuring cup to pour the ingredients into the bowl.
  • I add two cups of each ingredient to start (1 per kid)
  • At the end I add more of the savory ingredients (in this mix the Cheetos, pretzels, and popcorn)
  • Mix all together
  • Enjoy!
  • Note: If you will not be serving immediately do not add marshmallows until just before serving (they dry out and absorb the moisture from other ingredients making them stale)

This snack mix is bound to be a hit with kids and adults!  You can easily modify the recipe to include any of your favorite ingredients.  You can also modify the theme for just about any occasion.  We have snack mix for basically every family get-together since it is a crowd favorite.
