Do you love to travel as a family but always find that someone gets sick?  We travel with our children frequently and I find the key to a successful trip is in the planning and preparation.  The same goes for staying healthy while traveling – with a little time spent planning you can save a ton of heartache (and for that matter stomachaches!).  Read on for my list of 5 tips to keep your family health while traveling.

The level of planning for your trip depends on where you are planning to travel – if you are traveling out of the country there are more factors to consider.

  1. Check with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the Traveler’s Health section to research the country you will be traveling to.  You can get information tailored to your travel party (i.e traveling with children).  You can find information on vaccinations and how to stay healthy while on your trip.
