Magnetic Frame Kit

Magnetic Frame Kit

Buddy caught a bug and had a fever yesterday that has lingered into today.  I needed an easy and relatively quick project to do with the kids to keep him busy but also relatively still.  I decided to pull out my last AC Moore project (I need to go stock up again!).  Click on the picture below to see the weekly sales flyer:

The kids picked these a while ago and I held onto them knowing we would have a day like today and need something to do.  These were perfect as Buddy was Captain Hook and Boo Boo was Belle for Halloween last year.  I printed out their pictures and we used those to put in the frames.

Materials Needed:

  • Magnetic Frame Kit
  • Tacky Glue
  • Picture

I love these projects because everything you need (except the glue and in this case the picture) is included in the kit.  I have tacky glue in the house already so it isn’t an additional expense.

I knew that Buddy would need a lot of assistance today since he was sick so I went into planning on that and he surprised me by doing more of the project himself then I expected.  Boo Boo is a project master and only needed my help to spread her glue after a little too much came out.

The only issue we had today was with the magnets – they were supposed to be sticky but weren’t.  We took that in stride and glued them on as well.

I can’t wait to have the kiddos hang these on the fridge when they dry!  Overall a very easy project that the kids really enjoyed.
