So yesterday was a snow day and today was a sick day for Boo Boo. Last night was supposed to be bath night and that didn’t happen as she was definitely not feeling well. I figured I would try to make it fun for the kids and did my usual pinterest surfing to find a quick easy idea.
My pinterest inspiration today came from Mom Dot.
Instructions
- Gather the needed materials: muffin tin, toothpicks, shaving cream, food coloring
- Fill each compartment with shaving cream
- Next get some dye (a little goes a long way with the Wilton gels) on the toothpicks
- Next mix the shaving cream and food dye with the toothpick
- Play!
This was a very quick setup for a lot of fun. I actually had to drain the tub once as the water had gotten cold and they were not done!
The kids had so much fun they ended up with a water ducky fight!
This was so fast and really made bath time fun for the kids. I will keep this in my bucket of tricks so they will actually take baths together occasionally. I think they were in the tub for almost an hour! So we had a good morning in Maine 🙂
