Valentine’s Kabobs

These Valentine’s Day Kabobs are perfect for classroom parties. I whipped them up for Boo Boo’s party today.

Materials Needed:

  1. Box of Brownie mix (I made two boxes to make enough for all the kids)
  2. Bag of large heart shaped marshmallows
  3. Fresh strawberries
  4. Bamboo skewers

I made the brownies according to the recipe on the box yesterday.  The kids helped mix the batter and lick the spatula (I’m pretty sure that is the only reason they help!).

After the brownies cooled, I cut them into bite sized pieces and stored in a rubbermaid container overnight.

I rinsed my strawberries and cut off the stems.  Once I had all items prepped I started making kabobs.

I placed one marshmallow on first, then a brownie, strawberry, brownie, and marshmallow.  This isn’t rocket science – do it how you want!

Since I made these for the classroom party I individually wrapped them as I knew they were having ice cream and figured these could go home.  Enjoy!
