Kwik Stix Review

On a typical night we don’t have much time after school for projects. Between extra curricular activities and homework (I still can’t believe there is homework in kindergarten) we barely have time to eat dinner, get baths and get the kids into bed.

Miraculously – yesterday we got homework done quickly and Boo Boo asked to paint. Usually around that time I’m making dinner and would have said no because real paint is messy and involves a lot of supervision. I happily agreed because I knew I had Kwix Stix paint sticks to test.

The kids loved the paint sticks! They made some awesome pictures and were very happy using them.

Here are some highlights from our experience:

The paint sticks are easy to use. They are in containers that are very similar to glue sticks (they have caps and as you use the stick you roll out more).
They were mostly mess free- my 4 year old still painted on the table and had some on his face – (similar to the mess of markers – not paint).
The pictures dried very quickly and were ready to be displayed within minutes.
The colors are very vibrant.
Easy to use for my 4 and 5 year olds. They had a blast and would have made more pictures if it hadn’t been dinner time.

Final Verdict

I highly recommend these paint sticks – they are a great way to paint without the mess and prep work of traditional paint. They are kid tested and approved from our house!
