I got picked by House Party to host a Younger TV First Look Screening Party! I had signed up with House Party after I heard about it during the #DisneySide Party planning. I thought it would be fun – it gives me an excuse to have a party! I was really excited about this party because it was the perfect opportunity to host a girls night! I honestly haven’t made that many new friends since we moved back to Maine so I thought it would be a good chance to reconnect with some old high school friends and some of my new mom friends.
House Party and TV Land provided a party pack that included:
- 2-piece Wine ensemble
- 1 Cocktail shaker
- 1 pack Cocktail cups
- 1 pack Napkins
- 1 Younger DVD
- 1 Social media card
- 1 pack Wine tags
- 8 Cork coaster kits
Pretty awesome stuff huh? Since I was already prepping for Boo Boo’s birthday party the next day I made a lot of my food early and had it for this party too – which made it easy to get ready. I invited 12 people and had 3 show up – so there were just 4 of us total. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of rsvps (most people didn’t even decline) but honestly the 4 of us had a blast – it was a nice night watching a fun new tv show and catching up.
Younger was a fun show – I know I will be setting my DVR to watch it and one of the other ladies already set it (she is very tech savvy and has the DirecTV app on her phone that allows her to program her DVR from anywhere – impressive huh??)
We enjoyed the show and everyone had a few laughs. I personally am not fashion savvy so the outfits and that kind of stuff don’t mean much to me but I liked the story line. I think it will be fun to see how the show pans out – I mean how long will she be able to pull off being 20 something when she is 40 and how will she continue the farce when her daughter comes home? I think its fun to see a show about a stay at home mom going back into the work force as its something that I can relate to as I will probably try to start working again once both kiddos are in school all day.
