Homemade Christmas Teacher Appreciation Gift
I don’t know about you but for me this holiday season has moved faster than ever. I can’t seem to keep up. I always like to give my children’s teachers a small token of our appreciation at Christmas. I had planned for it but somehow the night to get everything ready was upon me without me realizing. I had planned and purchased a few things to include so all that I needed to whip up were our homemade items.
Each teacher received a gift bag with a loaf of homemade bread, potholders, and a homemade Christmas card. I don’t go overboard on teacher gifts but like to make sure they know we are thinking of them over the holidays. I also make sure to include something handmade by the kids as most teachers I’ve known say they enjoy those items the most.
Homemade Christmas Cards
I took to Pinterest and found a few different options for handprint and footprint Christmas cards. Buddy and Boo Boo each picked their own design.

Homemade Bread
I recently put a ton of bananas that were ripe into the freezer so I was planning on making banana bread for the teachers. The morning of the day I was planning to make the bread a recipe for Triple Chocolate Banana Bread appeared on my Facebook newsfeed – I took that as a sign. You can find the recipe here:

Do you do gifts for your children’s teachers? Anything specific each year or does it vary? Let me know – I’m always looking for new ideas!
