Mickey Mouse Gift Bags

I decided after my Pinterest searching that I needed to make Mickey Mouse gift bags for our little friends at our #DisneySide @Home Celebration.  I saw a ton of these posted and decided it would be quick and easy to make them.

I used my Creative Memories oval cutters and made 24 white ovals for Mickey “buttons”.  I cut two 12×12 sheets of red cardstock into rectangles to make the Mickey “pants” – miraculously these were the perfect size to fit on the black gift bags I bought at hobby lobby.  I cut each sheet in half and then into thirds – so one sheet of paper made 6 rectangles.

Once I had my materials prepped I used my hot glue gun to attach the paper pieces to the gift sacks.  I put three dots of hot glue on the top and bottom of my red paper and then glued it to the bottom of the flat side of the gift bag.  After I secured that I put on dot of hot glue on each bottom and applied them to the center of the red paper to create buttons.

In less than 30 minutes I had made 12 gift bags for our party that will look awesome on as decorations as well until the guests take them home!
